Description Pirate Basil is showing Olivia (yay, she's older) the sites and sounds of their new port. Yes, I had to give Basil back his mustache...I did. Can anyone tell that I have Pirates/Renaissance Fair on my brain?

I had a few min. to myself today so I drew this and just wanted to share XD! I didn't even have enough time to finish drawing Olivia's bottom half XD! The background that I have in mind is sort of a busy market area with people selling stuff all around them...yeah, that will have to wait for when I get the time. Sorry for another dark photo but you can see it okay. So enjoy!

I did get a few good action drawings down of Pirate Basil which somehow let to me doing some action drawings of my Vampire Basil too XD! So I have a ton of drawings to finish.

I had to add the earring since I drew Basil as Clopin and it grew on me. Its also a kind of reminder that I still have to finish doing Ratigan as Frollo XD! Yes, I remember seeing Brett with an earring! Now I'm tempted to do normal Basil with a pierced ear.

Seeing this only makes me want to go to a Renaissance Fair! Or see "At World's End" a lot faster, I don't know which! I realize the watermark is a good thing to have to keep art thieves from stealing your work, but it makes it difficult to see the picture itself! I wanted to look more at the detail of Basil's outfit and can't get a good view of it. I love this, though! Very much, in fact! It's a very fun and amusing picture of the two!

Thanks a lot! Yes, those are the thoughts in my head Ren Fair & Pirates of the Caribbean XD! Yeah, I know the watermark gets in the way when I put up a pencil drawing but it does make me aware that it needs to be finished. Hopefully I'll at least be able to out line it sometime this week and then you can see the details better XD.

Thanks a lot! Especially when I gave no pre-thought to either of their costumes before I actually drew them--although Olivia's is rather simple. I'm going to at least try to outline it sometime this weekend XD.

Olivia's costume reminds me of my old Renaissance outfit before I accessorized it up more. I also had a waist belt before a bodice. I like to call it the boob crusher. While it gives a nice cleavage, it is so constricting! You can't sneeze, cough, sit without keeping your back straight, and going to the restroom, ha! I'll see you in twenty minutes after entering the privy!

Olivia's costume looks like your old one--that's actually not too surprising considering that its pretty simple. If I dress up for the fairs then I usually use a waist belt and I do have some patterns for Ren. outfits that I haven't used yet. I've seen some of the women at the Ren. fairs with their bodices so tight that they had to be painful and I really don't know how they could stand it (I feel like a Pirates of the Caribbean joke should be in here somewhere). While I sometimes like the look of a full bodice I know I could never wear one so I must give you due respect for wearing one XD!

I cannot wear that bodice anymore, or I'd like to find the built-in one into the dress. It's much less of a constriction on the ribcage and poor boobalas.

That's the first thing that came to me. For a second, I seriously thought this was the Trick or Treating one until I looked at the title.

Thanks so much! So it wasn't just me who saw the similarities XD! Maybe it would be better if I flip the drawing around? I just like drawing Basil walking with Olivia all gentlemanly-like.

Yup, Basil had to have an earring especially after I drew him as Clopin with one. And he just didn't look complete without his mustache XD! Who could say no to that 'stache?
