Description ‘MEET ME IN NEW ORLEANS’
11" x 17" graphite on paper

Featured at PNT Facebook, here is a WIP step-by-step look at the week long making process of this work which was begun on 3/31/14 and completed on 4/5/14. My first brand-new art piece of the year after being medically cleared at long last (as long as I was comfortable) it was created using graphite, Prismacolor, and white charcoal on a rag weave paper blend in loving memory & honor of my dear and long-time personal friend, William Moody who was inducted into the Class Of 2014 WWE HALL OF FAME held in New Orleans, LA @ Wrestlemania XXX.

The design is a ‘nod’ to the fan club’s popular classic Windowknocker series, 'Heirlooms' 1851 New Orleans (1996) which is in fact noted on the lid of the pedestal style tomb that the Undertaker is laid upon. The ‘hint’ of a name on the lid is not name at all, but the phase ‘Come, my dearly beloved’, also from the same 1851 story.

(Yes this will be available as a print very shortly)

Cir. 2014

Do you have problems in both arms?

No, just the left. I'd actually be happier if it was the right ....Okay, maybe not 'happy', but It probably would be easier to deal with as far as my art is concerned. I'm left-handed.

I can use both hands.
Usually is easier to injury the arm you use more. 5 years ago i had problems in my left harm because I used it more at work, since my co-worker is stritcly left handed (she's extremely awkward with her right hand) and we had only left glowers.

I think I remember you mentioning before that you were able to use either. Unfortunately I'm not so lucky. I'm left-handed only.

I keep looking back and forth at the 2nd, 4th and 5th part of the picture and it makes it look like he's rising out of the picture.

I guess it does look that way. It was laying on the drawing board and I was trying to take photos of it at different angles trying to avoid glare.
