What can I say? *lol* The Fox better cough up some catnip or a big ball of yarn.

The ‘Undertaker Fox’ first appeared in July 1991 only a few months prior to the launching of Plots-n-Tombstones that November. Along with his personal feline version of Paul Bearer, PNT’s enduring official mascot has graced everything from letterhead to magazine, serving the darkside community and evolving with it, changing as his real-life TV personality did on screen. A running gag for several years is that the Fox hails from Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. In short, that he’s zombie roadkill.

Although both of their designs ordinated from my old Party Animals strip from the 80's, what people might not know is that Paul was based on two things: A homage to Jim Davis’s ‘Garfield’ which originally inspired me into comics, and a tabby cat I owned who actually had a tuff of random black fur that really did look like he had a mustache.
