Axel was SUPPOSED to take over his father's company when he was old enough, but he never really paid attention to it much. He prefered the adventure of Pokemon Training to being in a stuffy office, so after much debate his family let him go on a journey. He left one year ago with his partner Espeon, as well as Dragonair.
