Indefinite hiatus. There was a LOT wrong with it (inconsistencies and plot holes and failed logic everywhere)... basically it needs a huge revamp before I can ever write the whole thing. It's still a possibility, I loved the story and still want to see it completed someday.

Sometimes I have to chuckle about your self-depreciation. "Basically, nothing too impressive."
You *do* realize this is a well composed piece, with flowing figures, drapery, good anatomy, and style that is distinctly yours, right? Each character is well defined (we're not looking at clones of one another) and the color intensity is simply beautiful!
For something that is "nothing too impressive", I must say that I am impressed.
You're too hard on yourself, I think. I rather like your work, and I am looking forward to seeing more.

It's up on Fictionpress under the screenname Shinga. It's the first draft so keep in mind there will be weak characters, plot holes, grammar mistakes and just plenty of screw-ups. It's in the process of being overhauled right now so I can send it in to be published.

you know, I fell in love with that story years ago... I can't even remember now where I first read it. elfwood, maybe, or fictionpress. I still love it. It's one of those stories that I half-remember, and still influences the kinds of books I'm reading now, or the stuff I draw when no one's looking. Probably doesn't mean much from an anonymous stranger, but cyberseed was the first story I read that wasn't bound and in a library that I really cared about. I think I'll go read it again, from the beginning.

I love the girl with the glasses...the proportions look a little off though, on the necks mostly

it seems that sada gets lost in the whole thing, if you made her bigger than she would stand out more.
