In defense of my thick lines, all I had with me was a size 05 inking pen... I left my 01 at home >_>Anyway, started drawing a girl, then she ended up in a pretty dress, then a veil... so, a bride! And I added the butterfly stuff and the title popped in my head and I thought "eee, butterfly bride... squee" cause I'm a nerd. So, there you have it.
Not happy with the hair... at least the coloring. Oh well.

This reminds me of a Chinese movie called Butterfly Lovers (easily the awesomest movie ever) It's sort of like Chinese Romeo and Juliet/ Mulan

This strangely reminds my of the movie "Corpse bride", when she turns into a bunch of butterflies.

This is so pretty. When I saw the name I immeditaly thought of The Corpse Bride and the how in the movie, the butterflies symbolize Emily, the Bride.

Between the title and her pose my mind immediately snapped to the old phrase about not touching a butterfly's wings lest it ne'er fly. I agree with Whitebow; she looks like she's expecting something other than the best public night of her life. Is that a cuff on her left wrist?
