DescriptionNow that I do not have any commissions, I've been fantasizing about revisiting all of my characters' designs. Creating a reference sheet helps me contemplate my character designs, so expect to see them (they take forever though). I thought it would be easier if I started with the characters not in my own headworld considering there are significantly fewer of them, haha.This is Pai'Te, a custom Nagendra character that AshasCadence made for me. There are some questions I have to ask Asha that might change her size but everything else should be accurate. I am in love with her design and I hope you guys like her too!

Hello! That is entirely up to you! I have seen some beautiful fully shaded sheets, but I prefer to do a flat shading most of the time. It depends on how much work you are up to and also what sort of colors your character has. For example, shading Shinerai would make him difficult to understand because his base color is dark on top and light on bottom but he would be shaded on bottom. However, shading some of my other characters would be beneficial to show, for example, scale texture, opalescence/iridescence, or other special color effects that may not be readily apparent or easily explained with flat colors. I hope that helps!
