Description
She is a character from my comic Carciphona ; so far she is only briefly referred to in book 5, page 66, then never mentioned again, but she will be an important character as I expand on the history of the story world in the future. I drew her once before in one of 2016βs patreon rewards.
I originally planned for this picture to be an interpretation of an artist, sculpting the world with a sword, which is in a sense what this character is about. However I only intended it to be a static pose with a small dagger, sculpting a seat out of stone or something, but as I wanted more and more for the picture, it turned into this totally different thing here :β) I hope to polish this to finish some day but we all know how big that pile is already hahaha________________________________________________________________

i'm not sure if i commented before, but oh my, I LOVE THIS. it is so beautiful. i love the colors (the green + the light/shadows on the green making it yellowish/bluish is to die for. i love colors so much, and now i have a new favorite color), and i LOVE how flowy everything is (the hair, the pose, the cape)

Cute, badass, beautiful... Wait! I mean awesome design, impressive pose, and these colors... Darker towards the top, they give an ominous feeling, which is strengthened by the chaotic swirls of the hair, clouds and the tattered cloak. And I'm not even talking about her "Watcha lookin' at, mongrel?" expression.
After starting at the drawing for a while, I noticed the lighting actually makes her appear to be looking down (literally this time) on the viewer. I can't tell if you used a low-angle perspective; if you didn't, then achieving this using only colors and lighting is really well done.
In any case, since she's long dead in the story (she -should- be, right?), I'm looking forward to seeing some epic flashbacks!
