Well, here is the first picture of my Sherlock cosplay. And you may think that it's finished, not a preview costume anymore. I wish you were right...
I had very bad luck with the coat fabric. Order of fabric 1 had been cancelled without reasons. The I ordered fabric 2 and only 1yd arrived at my place and fabric 3 came pretty late. Therefore, believe it or not, I had to hand-sew the whole coat the night before the shooting. That's why it still looks like a mob... Of course, I will make a new one soon >___> I'm my biggest hater xDD

Apart from THAT I really like the shot showing SPEEDY'S in the background and me with the iPhone in alarming pink ^^

Oh, and I met Benedict in London Not in costume though xD
And yes, I talked to him and he talked back. Still haven't realised that yet....

Absolutely incredible cosplay! Where on earth did you get everything? o: I've been wanting to cosplay Sherlock for quite awhile now, but some of the things I have aren't nearly as good as yours. My coat seems too light in color, for instance.

I found some tweed fabric online and made the coat myself. it's far from perfect though ^^

I'm actually thinking of having a go at making my own Sherlock coat, and I was just wondering what kind of pattern you used? I'm a bit of a noob at sewing and this will be my first proper project cx any advice would be much appreciated, but that's ok if you can't ^-^

actually i borrowed a friend's coat, which was custom made on ebay, and copied the pattern. but i realised it<#s not the perfect one. this is why my coat turned out too tight :/

yeah the coat back then was rubbish actually. nothing compared to the one i've been wearing since october for the new photos ^^

hey! actually I made the coat myself (bought fabric online and so on). I only know that they sell replicas on ebay which are quite nice and not THAT expensive and they are custom made, too. maybe you can check those ^^

OMG lucky him!!! I met Ben, too, and he's really nice even if he was in a rather bad mood that day xDDD
I'd love to show him my cosplay but at the same time would be too embarassed xDDDDDD

i bought some fabric in a German online store and made the coat myself. By now it was changed into my Fem!Lock coat and a new Sherlock one is about to be made by me very soon ^^
