Very awesome! I like the light in his hand. It gives the piece a very definite focal point, and the staircase kind of circles around it. Nice composition, and the coloring is sweet too!

woah, very cool! The rendering - of the stairs especially - looks very nice and surreal. His face looks a little flat, and some of the coloring/shading looks a little strange (almost like overuse of lasso and fill tools), but overall I think the picture is very nice. I love to see the way people visually interpret written works. ^^

Hmm.. that's interesting.. as I didn't use the fill tool once. ^_^; The main cause for the strange shading is that I got lazy.. hehe. This piece was a cool concept originally but eventually it got to the point where I didn't really want to do it, but I felt like I should just because the book is so cool and I thought it might turn out okay anyway. Oh well. ^_^;; Thanks.. hehe
