The making of this portrait was...interesting (and frustrating) to say the least.First off, his curls are DEADLY to hands! Just a warning to all artists who would like to attempt to draw him in the future.
Second, I'm still trying to get the hang of achieving that extreme (beautiful) dark black that artists like , , , and can do. (It's amazing )
Third, I got lazy and made the mistake of trying to use graphite AND charcoal and it just didn't work out that great at all. XP (I did get my black though!)
But, I bought a matte fixative and it turned out alright.
This is just one of the portraits that will be available for purchase as prints during the Geek Galaxy Comic Con .

Fantastic portrait! I love how dark and smooth it is. Ben's eyes, however, are the most amazing part of this portrait. So shiny and realistic!
