Lance a short-tempered and optimistic Porcupine of fire, and my new FC Tahra, a sarcastic, stubborn, and confrontational Porcupine of earth. The first meeting them would probably be fighting, and none of both would admit defeat easily. XD
In a long time I was trying to create a character with powers to manipulate earth, and with personality as rigid as the earth.
I had already thought of the name and style, but an day I saw an Lance art and I had the idea to also make a porcupine. I thought porcupine fit very well in her. See the sketches here: sta.sh/2fvcd7h5is2
Coincidence or not. Upon entering the Artheyna account came across the open contest. LOL! So I decided to make my first art of Tahra with Lance XD
So... Tahra is really based on Lance. I really think him very cool, with a very interesting desing. I'm happy to be participating in this contest.
If it had not extended I could not. Even so had to miss a few nights to finish it. XD
It's happened to you complete a drawing and it's not like you had thought? Erase and start again ... and again still not okay, there's something strange ... and then do several times to have a similar result to what had thought ... (sketch is the hardest part for me)

this is really nicely done
the details are absolutly stunning and wonderfully done
I really adore both poses and the real battle effect into this
the fire is wonderfully and really realistic looking

Awesome work with the action poses here, miss~ o .o Quite liking how it even emits that impression of action and combat. Even the environment that these two are in is pretty well done, downright to the debris flying about and the tufts of grass! And goodness me, those flames look really neat~
