A popular spot, as leaping fish here are fat and slow, seemed like a good place to learn to fish. Midas 8196 had dragged his goon Scrum 9004 , quite literally, during midday in order to try and learn the tricks of the trade - or at least trick some fish out of some fool's mouth and into their own bellies. When they arrived, the place was already a buzz with energy.

Copying some gold-furred dove, Midas and Scrum had settled down on the edge of the water. For some reason, all of the leaping fish seemed to leap clear of Midas' clutches but almost always slapped against or leaped over Scrum's head, the lazy pup missing every single one. Running out of patience, Midas tackled Scrum after yet another fish had launched itself at his face, as if begging to be eaten, and the raven rook had completely missed it. The adults around simply laughed at the rough-housing kids -but the spotted one they had been copying took pity on the bickering pair and began to give them a more in-depth lesson, one that was keenly listened to by a third feathery pup, Nastya 6728 .
