Alex is my pirate, but he's also my cowboy ;D
Even in the early 1700s, when he's on the seas, his heart belongs to the land and he'd far rather settle down on a farm and raise cattle, as that was how he was brought up. And then in any other instance of him out of his pirate-y realm, he's a cowboy, from the 1800s to modern times. He's laidback rancher who prefers the company of his cattle over anyone else C: ... or when he's bored a little bit of a rough and tumble outlaw - but still, much like as a pirate, he's a little bit too soft xD
Decided to keep him with his various pirate bits and pieces, namely his scars and amulet, because he's technically immortal so he'd no doubt transition from the sea to the land by the mid to late 1800s to be part of the westward expansion. Whereupon he'd pledge his allegiance to Texas (or New Spain as it was when he was born there C: ) and not budge an inch ;3
He's nice and confusing ;D But I was listening to a lot of Jason Aldean so felt like drawing my country boy <3

I am a fan of the Old West and all the genres that encompasses that era. In a world where a chosen character can ride the high seas, find lost civilizations, be an assassin who must save a kingdom, be a creature of the night and so much more.

I can see that. When I was in art class, the teacher had to make us do objects which were on this table and we had to fill in the dark parts, where the Sun wasn't facing the objects. We had to get every detail right.

Ahhh yeah I remember doing stuff like that >.> I really sucked when art was a compulsory lesson, haha. I always got in trouble because I got fed up, did things wrong and was one of the worst in the class >.> It's so much better to take your time and learn how you want to, not be forced into it >.> Make mistakes off your own back and tell yourself off, not let others do it in a school setting...!

That's a confession I won't forget you telling me about! You were doing bad things? Wow. Well, I was a good student in my class. Every single class that I took I kept my rankings of A's and B's, the most highest grades that you can get in high school. I aced all of my classes, but math was one of the worst. Darn multiplication, division and fractions! That was truly a living nightmare for me.

Oh I got good grades - straight As etc - but I was still a brat when I got bored xD The times I did find myself getting detention, of a sort, was with a specific art teacher - I did anything but what she wanted. Like made a really (like REALLY) long snake out of clay instead of a pot, haha xD Art lessons were not my forte by any means xD
