The title says "I'm Hungarian"

My passport says so, even though my German and English are better than my Hungarian, especially when writing. Never having learned Hungarian in school, I only know it from speaking it with my parents, having learned to write in this rather odd language by myself. I haven't applied for a German citizenship yet, as up to a certain age, they can commit you to military duty, or alternative civilian service, both wastes of my time, against my will. Got an unlimited residence and work permit, so that's all I need until I'm old enough not to be bothered by outdated military relics.

What you see here is the Hungarian Parliament Building in Budapest, as seeen from the Buda (western) side of the river Danube. If I were to go home to our apartment, I'd only have to turn around on the spot and walk down three or four blocks on Csalogány Street. Yes, you could say we live in a nice and central part of the city.
