At this time in here Ororo is changing, here style of dress and attitude has become more harsh.
She also realizes that violent weather comes quite easy to her. It no longer takes great effort to conjure up the full fury of nature. And sometimes will over do it when it comes time to take down her opponent. (See uncanny X-men Annual #7 {I think} Master mind was the villain)
