No, it's the Rime of the Ancient Mariner, lol. I've read it waay too much through my high-school career. I think people think The Mariner is the bird, but the Albatross is the bird, and it symbolizes guilt, or sins and repentence or something. It's a very good epic, in any case. If you understand what they're talking about. A Mariner is a word for a sailor, and that's the guy who tells the story. If you ever want to read and understand it, there are Sparknotes on it. I think you'd like it

It is an amazing poem. People have asked me if I've based The Mariner of it, but I haven't. It was just an idea that came to my head. But yah, Rime of the Ancient Mariner is definitely one of my faves.

I have to admit, I really like this. Mythical creepy-like. Coupled with a few of your other creations and this fella, I think an intriguing story could develop. Or maybe it already has, aaaand as usual, I missed it.

Well, the Mariner is part of my friend's story. I have only read the beginning so far, and it sounds really good. The critter thing hasn't even appeared in the story yet, but it's very good.
