It's 2 layers of 4 ply baltic birch pressed together in a wooden jig I made. Silverfishlongboarding and other sites have forums for building longboard decks. The design is watered down acrylic paint and sharpie.

What sort of adhesive did you use between the layers. If you don't feel like sharing could you link to one of the forums you mention?
