This is the actual Tempora piece that my previous two images have kind of spawned from. It seems kind of repetitive but i enjoyed the color scheme and overall theme that it was too good to only do one design of
This is for the band Azimuth Dream from Cleveland. Next week is the art show and I hope they like it. If not, fuck it right?
I decided to try something new, and incorporate a smaller canvas to the larger one by ways of super glue >
to portray the lyrics physically. The overall meaning of the song is about each of our lives are like canvas, and as we get older we add more paint to our canvas. When we die, all that remains is our painting and what we chose to live like. Head over to [link]

BTW this is 98% complete, I'll be adding some of the lyrics to the background to finish it up. And if you know anyone or are yourself in a band, I am more than happy to paint a piece inspired by one of ya songs. It'll just cost you your first born....and some beef jerky.

Though I appreciate that you are for artist's rights you need to make sure you know how to come at another artist properly rather than accusing someone.
This painting was done for the Cleveland based band Azimuth Dream BASED off of their song Tempora.
Now I cannot say if another artist or any group of artist's haven't put a heart in the face of their subject but be aware that I created this solely for them with no references. And I'm not really concerned if you believe me or not. But if you say you have seen this painting before I would like to see said painting. Feel free to note me with the link, but don't expect much more of a conversation than this reply. I tend to stay away from negative energy.

I truly apologize, it was massively immature of me to just assume that you copied and that it wasn't your original idea. Im insanely sorry, I suppose I may have over reacted? But yes, I believe that I have seen renditions of this painting. I must say, your extremely talented. When I saw your art all I can think was: Alex Grey, Alex Pardee mixed. Then I saw your favorite artist and was like: YESSS. and APC and Tool are two of my most favoritest bands btw. Again, I apologize for just assuming that this wasn't your original idea, I shouldn't of jumped to comclusion.

It's quite alright. I tend to try and keep a positive attitude with the dA community. But I take art theft very serious and being considered a possible theif was a little too much to absorb.
I would still like to see these renditions you speak of, as now my interest is piqued. I appreciate your kind words on my work as well as my influences both artistically and musically.
I hope my future work will stir enough emotion in you to keep coming back for more.

Your art is so bittersweet for me. It's amazing and nice to look at (in that dark sort of way)--but I also realize that I'll never be anywhere near as good as that, which is sort of a bummer.
