I love Megatron, and I love what Mastermind Creations did with creating the toy Tyrantron. His cannon and his flight jet-mode, they are amazing!!! So I just had to use that toy. And the head. From the very beginning, I had ideas about using the head, for the first time seen in Megatron Origin. And also the toy Tyrantronus is given this head, which you can replace.

Yes, the cannon is similar like from TF Animated (I have never seen that show). But it's based on a toy called Tyrantron, from Mastermind creations.
And that's the fun thing of making a fan-comic. Creating new transformers.

Since we are talking about MEGATRON I feel like he should be more silver or silver-grey for the most part.

his design is based on the toy Tyrantron, which again is based on MTMTE Megatron.
THIS Megatronus Prime belongs to my fancomic TF Cybertronians. in which the heroic Megatron and his friend Optimus infiltrated the body of Unicron. Go read it.
I wrote this story and I started first with artist Mickael Pestel and colorist Simone Daraghiati. Mickael did great designs for me for this story. He draw the first chapter of 11 pages, and after him Tiina Ylikorpi draw six pages.
Now, I've started to draw the pages. It was a new experience for me. Making completly new designs from scratch is not something I'm good at. But I wanted to give Megatron a new design after the picked up the matrix.
And the fun thing of writing/drawing/coloring your own fan-comic, you can do whatever you like.
