aw thanks! hm for this one i think it was just photoshop? But you can certainly do the same in sai. The newer ponystuck images i made are in illustrator though

If you're doing a lot quickly like the Vriska one then the vectors are good for a quality/quantity outcome.
You can still do others if you want to critique your work and get each element right.
A good comparison is my shrug/chibi ponies [link] [link] vs Military Aircraft [link] [link] The latter have ALOT more work in them and they look awesome, but the chibi/shrugs are quick & alot of fun.

The thing is I'm not even 100% sure which is faster for me. Right now I don't even reuse the vector parts which would make it easier, but I don't know how to structure them in such a way that i can re use the limbs because I need them to look perfect and my poses are not always from the same angle too, bahaha >_<. Oh well~ I especially hate doing the horns LOL

For my shrug ponies I used the original shrug picture made. Created a new layer, vectored the applicable lines & saved as a new file. That way I've got the outline already done. I can e-mail you the file as an example if you want.
For yours you could make individual layers with the outline of the stance minus the expression, or with the different anatomy parts. It's a though anyway.

Well the problem is making them posable, I think i should just start reusing limbs because going from a straight leg > bent leg is hard to do by just moving the parts, takes too long to align all the bits. Maybe i'll build enough of a collection of parts that i can just steal from other ponies as i go xD
