I had to do this picture. It's Yangus from Dragon Quest 8 saying COR BLIMEY! He does this in the game a lot when the king appears behind him outta nowhere. It's just funny to see such a big dude get scared like this. He's a funny character anyway. I LOVE YANGUS!Related content

Oh yes, I've loved those scenes in the game cause not only are they random, they are just plain hilarious. I think my favorite one so far is the one where you are trying to save Abot Francisco at Maelle Abby, Trode pushes the Hero out of the way just as the Hero is about to charge at Dhulemagus, and then Yangus does his hilarious pose and yells out "Cor Blimey!" cause it was a rather serious situation and that little part kind of killed the seriousness but was real funny so it didn't matter. I've yet to get far in the game unfortunately so I haven't seen them all yet.

Hah, honestly, this is about all I remember from the game because it's been a good 9 years or so since I played it! But I do remember Yangus made the game with his funny outbursts.

Yeah, I had recently restarted on the game myself but I'm stuck at Trodain Castle cause that place is so freaking confusing. Thank god I've actually been training the characters to where they aren't dropping like flies every ten seconds from a single powerful hit.

my fav 'cor blimey line' was at the 'Mystic Spring' (i think that what its called) where the whole group is there, including King Trode, and the king says "what are you going on about i've been here the whole time"
(sorry if its not exactly right its been awhile since i've seen that scene)

This was my favorite part of Dragon Quest VIII. Every single time he did that I just about fell off of my couch laughing. The pose alone is hilarious, but the sudden 'Cor Blimey!' is always just too much.

I love this so much. I still can't quite believe how much I love this game. Even though it does very classical RPG things, something about it makes it very different from every other game I've played... Yangus RULES! xD Thanks for the great artwork!!!

Yangus's "Cor Blimey!" line is the best! He's my fav. character in the whole game. Personally, I think that King Trode should have popped up after you beat Doulmagus for the last time. Anyone who has gotten that far will know what I mean. That would have been hilarious!

Hero would be awesome if DQ makers would ever give them their own personality. I love the series but you'd think once it had hit the PS2 they'd give the Hero lines.
And a voice.
So sadly enough on the character scale Yangus wins but on the awesome moves/weapons/look scale Hero wins.
