The Sailmaster or Sailing Master is pretty much what the title says - he's in charge of the ship's sails, rigging and navigation equipment. In essence, he keeps the ship moving.

I got the "Sailmaster" moniker from my friend Hitoritsuki [link] (if you look through her art, you'll find out how. )
