But seriously, that is super great that you got to do cover work!

it's a very eye-catching piece, but i have to be honest, i don't appreciate the token sex symbol look you've give uhura. she didn't wear boots like that (no female officer on the show did), and no woman stands "naturally" like that; it looks weird and forced. and drawing attention to her rear like that rather draws attention to the anatomical failures in the piece (by the way, all the heads and necks look a little off; too small, i think). oh, and she's holding the tricorder incorrectly. call me overly critical, but seeing her like that sort of ruins the piece for me.
and, just so you don't think i'm some prude, i asked the first person close by what they thought of the piece (didn't give any opinion myself) and they said it's "very disrespectfully objectifying uhura."
scotty looks the best; most like himself and most anatomically correct. and i think the ship and shuttle look pretty cool too. the sleekness you've managed to give the shuttle make it pretty eye-catching. the transporter beam effect is a nice touch.

I have this book. You guys are way cool! Questions: What do you use to colour these? Why not put all 7 main characters there?

Hey Judi, thanks fo the nice words. Yeah was tempted to add all 7 but it was getting a little crowded layout wise (as you would know there is that large banner with logos and type running down the side)...so we stuck with who we thought would be most recognizable. All the artwork is created directly in Photoshop using those big Wacom cintiq tablets.
