Casey Jones from TMNT (2012).I had been wanting to draw him ever since I saw his poster. But never got around to doing it. Then, after watching the official video for Casey Jones, I had much inspiration to draw him.
It started off as a quick doodle, and then I got carried away and it tuned into this… xD

In my opinion, he looks awesome; I love his new look. xD And I canNOT wait to see him in action!
And his voice…I had doubts about it before, but from what I’ve heard, I like.
What are your opinions on him??

I was originally going to draw him in a dynamic pose, but seeing as I this is the first time I’ve ever drawn him (and I don’t have much reference of him at the moment) I opted to draw him in a more simpler pose… Just to get a feel for how he should be drawn.
I think it turned out fine. And now I want to draw April in a similar way... 
Anyway, sorry for rambling. (Can you tell that I am excited?)

very good job man, really nice..
I just dont like the new look of Casey.. He is ok, but 2003 and 1987 ones were better.. they were more menacing and creepy as he should be..
However I got this 2012 version action figure.. the figure is great..

Yeah, I can understand that. I think the new style of Casey works for this series, but I will admit that the other versions were more fitting. I never saw the 2003 series, so I can't judge that one, but in the 1987 series (and a few of the comics), he definitely came of as more menacing and creepy.

I recommend you to watch the 2003 series.. I havent watched the all episodes either but some seasons. Its the best TMNT.. Here is one of shot from 2003 Casey:

no i am not.not everything about it bothers me.i'm ok with his skinny frame and missin teeth.i just don't like his face.all the same,it probably won't be long before the new look grows on me entirely.

Personally, I think just about every design (for the humans) had to grow on me. I mean, I like the way they look; I just wasn't too fond of the animation (especially in the face, as you said). But it has grown on me and I like the style now.

Of course, April x Donnie is cute, but I also like Casey x April from the older generations. I look forward to seeing the interactions between him, the turtles, and April! (Especially after what's happened in the first episode of season 2...)

Between you and me, I'm really looking forward to meeting this kid. His previous incarnations have really added a lot to the story. And, I know, he can be a jackass. But at least he's a loyal and protective jackass.
BTW: I'm familiar with his reoccurring backstory. And, it's not entirely his fault he's such a mess. It's his father. Arnold Jones was a screwup and a drunk who couldn't do a good job of taking care of his family. So we might as well cut his kid some slack.

I agree with you 100%. I'm really looking forward to meeting this character.
I'm not too familiar with his personality (or back-story), but I wouldn't doubt that it was rough.
I think that I heard somewhere that in this version his father is dead. But I don't know for sure.
We'll have to wait and see.

Casey Jones is a masked vigilante who hunts down mutants, he is April's love interest, Raph's best friend since they both have tempers, and is Donnie's love rival, he loves his mother, and misses his father terribly, he is voiced by Drake and Josh's Josh Peck!
