Amy and the Doctor has been all about trust.

The trust of the little girl when a box falls out of the sky, the trust of that child when he says he'll be back in five minutes and she waits all night in the garden, the trust of the young woman she grows to be when the "imaginary friend" comes back, the trust they build on their adventures that they have each others backs and will do the right thing, the trust the Amy has to have when the Doctor dies but sends her on a mission with his younger self, the trust the Doctor has when Amy swears on fish custard, the trust Amy has once she realizes the Doctor and his Ganger switched places and there was no real difference between them, and the trust she has to have when he orders her husband away from her and sends her to face her captors on her own until he can get there, the trust she has that the Doctor will come for her and rescue both her and her baby, and the trust he asks her to have when he leaves her to go searching for her lost child.
