I like the tree branches in this one better than the branches in my last submission. There are some problems with the folds of the dress. But, it was quite a while since I had a finished piece and I had fun finishing this up. More practice with the pencils, and I worked at a bit larger scale than usual.Watercolor pencil and drawing ink.

That's so really beautiful!!! It reminds me of the celts... I don't know why. I saw it and thought, there is something celtic in it

Thank you so much for the detailed comment. Skin tones are tricky for me and I think I'm just playing it safe with the subtle coloring. Incorporating unexpected colors into the skin would definitely add visual interest and add more depth. I'll try it. Thanks for the suggestion.
The bare trees are intentionally wintery, but perhaps I should have added a hint of buds to convey that Spring has touched them. Actually, they are more of a study since the last piece I uploaded into my gallery had winter trees that I was unhappy with. I looked closely at the trees outside my window and just concentrated on the shapes. I'm a bit happier with these.
And this piece is about 10" X 13", which is big for me.

Hehe, it's ok, I just recommend experimenting a little more with skin tones, then. Maybe doodle a bunch of faces and color them for color practice. Still, the colors are very good and just need some darkening up.
I like bare branches, it just only seemed to clash with the idea of spring, but I like the halo effect it has around her

The branches are really nice, and very detailed. They look perfectly spaced apart, too ^ ^ I love the wispy hair! It's so pretty and flowy XD And the outfit is a pretty style, I like the sleeves. The whole thing reminds me of the weather now here, right before Spring where it's still cool out and not too warm
