I watched Closer again as I cleaned the house. I think I learn something new every time I watch it. I must say it is one of the best movies of all time. The background music to the title screen is still playing. Such a beautiful melody, the same kind of beauty as laying in the grass watching the clouds move. This time I was inspired to take some black and whites... seeing as the gallery in the movie is so beautiful and the truest of all quotes...
"It's a lie. It's a bunch of sad strangers photographed beautifully, and all the glittering assholes who appreciate art say it's beautiful cause that's what they wanna see. But the people in the photos are sad, and alone... But the pictures make the world seem beautiful, so... the exhibition is reassuring which makes it a lie, and everyone loves a big fat lie."
I don't know why I bother to write so much. I don't know how many people even read this rubbish.

I really love this picture. A straight, sturdy look in the eyes that can make you smelt any moment of the day.
Love the piece of hair in front of you face. Very artistic with the B&W. You did a really great job so i can't say anything bad about it. But eventually i will find a picture that i can whine about.

WOW, you can read more in those eyes
than possibly in a book.
Yet for portraits like that you should try and get
the focus on the eyes. They're stunning allready
but if you would get those eyes hairsharp, you'd get
an amazing result. Keep on surprising !
