I love the dramatic pose! Ah, and incidentally... having the shreds of darkness around is a great idea. Really helps to balance the whiteness.
Crit... I think it's because of the way the wrist/hand points, but the finger looks bent a little too far out. Not MUCH, just a tad. It feels like it should be pointing towards the viewer a couple fractions more.
Overall, awesome.
