Hmm I have no idea why Chandra is so over looked in the game. I had wondered what Karim had seen in her that had won his devotion so thoroughly. But I think perhaps at the start of his chapter they were both just young and foolish. He seen the pretty thing and wanted it and she was willing to take advantage of this for the sake of getting what material gains she could. But well I donβt want to spoil anything but what they see and what they learn is absolutely wonderful. And they are definitely for me, two of the most memorable characters in the game. I wanted to try and show Chandra dancing with silk cloth as perhaps how she spent her time. I am not really sure what Persian fashion at the time was but I think this was close. There are some truly beautiful movements that come from this style of dance so perhaps that is what had enchanted Karim to begin with.Chandra and Karim are both from Eternal Darkness

I really do actually like they just work perfectly. Like he is shallow with no real sense of perspective. She is greedy, egocentric and vain but they come together and become something very special. He shed's away his shallow frame of mind and she puts the greater good before herself. It's really beautiful.

I really like the flow of movement in this icture! I don't know tis character but I think you made the light shine beautifully from her top (or what is that shirt/bra thing called?) beatiful smooth and soft colors really add t the feeling of movement!...

I've never liked her so much, controlling Karim for her own gains and betraying him while he was gone...she wasn't a very nice lady. But she learned from her errors I guess.

Well they kinda were as bad as each other. Like he clearly only wanted to be with her because of her physical appearance since it clearly wasn't her personality. Like they both were using each other but through the events of that chapter I think they both came out as much better people.
She definitely was much hotter as a ghost though

Beautifully shinning colors and her outfit is fantastic. I would work on smoothing some areas of the fabric out though to make it even more silk-like
I love the swirling motion of this piece and you did an amazing job on her skin - that is how smooth I wan the fabric to be honestly, but still with that over the top glow

I always go just a little bit OMG whenever I get a compliment of this calibre milady. Thank you very much. I had tried to make the fabric look transparent but I think it probably would have looked better more coloured in.

I really like the transparency of the fabric but it is something REALLY hard to do! The idea of drawing something see-though has always been something hard to grasp. I like how you did it but I just thought it would look a bit nicer being smoother. You really did a great job though!

I think its almost certain that neither of them were thinking of anything other than themselves and what shallow desires they had at the time. But I think their chapter was supposed to be a learning experience for the two of them. Chandra was most certainly chosen the same way Karim was though, because although they didn't realise it at the time, his infatuation and her greed is what ended with the two of them being embroiled in the events of the game.
So it all works out grand.

Uhuh it's actual character exposition and how rare is that? Even though you only see them for such a short time they do grow hugely and wonderfully into people that are something so very special. Yes I think for once something actually good came from something quite deplorable. Even if only quietly so. But they have been on my mind allot.

I think that's probably Mantarok's gift, in a way. Like, he takes completely unassuming people and turns them into heroes, knowing that soldiers, heroes, people like Pious, who assume they have something owed to them, just become corrupt. So perhaps Pious did serve Mantarok, in the sense that he served to teach Mantarok a lesson.

No I imagine that you are right there. Like he asked allot from them but he opened their eyes and they could see past their greed and shallow infatuation and actually became properly wonderful.

And then could spend the rest of eternity together. I imagine Karim wasn't so alone with Chandra there to watch over him, like, it must have been gruelling to keep the bad guys at bay, but he always had her there to keep him company and remind him of why he was fighting.

To be fair, am sure she didn't just terrify people, but even if she did, I am certain she managed to freak out many a hardened soldier. It would have been nice to see little apparitions of them in those ruins, like, dancing Chandra and Karim standing guard, if your sanity was low.

Actually no it's for the Gamecube. It's a relatively old game but utterly under-rated. It's actually one of the best survival horrors ever made. It's quirky and intellegent and the narrative is nothing sort of beautiful. It actually assumes gamers are smart rather than most games which do the opposite. It's wonderfully high brow
