yes but the mold tore long ago, i have 1 existing blank left that i plan to revamp and then sell again. if you would like, you can do whats called "escalating" and by paying my sculpting fee and cost of silicone, you get the blank at a discount from normal pricing and i get the base out and ready faster than i would be able to on my own schedule I love doing that, its been done with my bear base, newer canine, and small cat.

Interesting. How much would it be all together? I would love love love to make some horror goodies with that!

ShaggyGriffon In reply to yukisama23 [2014-05-15 21:26:37 +0000 UTC]

my sculpting fee for blanks is $60, silicone cost $43, but you save 30% on the blank price (normally $100, now $70) so not including shipping, $173

yukisama23 In reply to ShaggyGriffon [2014-05-16 00:48:58 +0000 UTC]

so instead of pay 100 for a blank its 173? I don't see how I save there

some people do it because they would get the blank(s) in mere weeks vs months/if ever if left to getting to it on my own. i have to live off of this and i dont make profit from the 2 bonus charges. eh some have done it others prefer to take the wait its personal preference

"fully installed resin blanks (eyes, nose, teeth, tongue, gums, elastic jaw, ears + attached to a balaclava) is $200 (price includes all of the options i offer plus the extras and material costs." 0_0 .... REALLY?! How much would shipping be to the UK (OL8 3DT) for this? I'd like to get a bes preinstalled (because I'm a newbie and don't want to wreck the base/want it to be done properly).

And roughly, how long would it take for you to put one together? I should have the whole amount by the end of march (as my birthday's the 29th... so I'll be getting a bit more money for it!), but I'd be needing this (including shipping time) by June latest... I'm aware it's a small timeframe, but I could pay in installments if that's possible?

Look forward to hearing from you,
~Mew

hey there! thank you for your interest! there has been a change to that product, currently now i only offer a do-it-yourself kit which comes with a hinged k9 mask base, a jawset, a tongue, and 1 inch unpainted eye blanks, which is $150. if you want i can add an uninstalled balaclava for an extra $20 (i have to buy them from my supplier)

if you want all the items i listed above installed for you, your cost would be $175 ($15 installation fee) and if you wanted a balaclava with that, it would be $195.

shipping to the UK is $45 due to the recent price increase by the postal service plus packaging supply costs.

id prefer payment in full but i can do half now half later, but please be aware i will not process the order until it is completely paid for my safety, and processing only takes about a week, and shipping about a week also to reach you. let me know! thanks

SG

I'd be happy to pay in full once I get the money together (so I'm likely to be able to pay on the 1st of April - no, it's not a joke, just realised that date :/ ), and more than happy to pay the extra $15 for you to install the parts (especially as I'd like, if possible, LED eyes - not to sure on how to securely put them in!), because I know that you know what you're doing is right.

Do you still do the ears thing? Y'know, where you put the foam ears on the balaclava? I could pay $10 extra for that.

The tongue I wouldn't be too bothered about, as I do plan to get a light blue UV one soon (or if you do UV ones, I'd pay extra to do so).

So, $250+ roughly depending on what specifics I choose, then?
That's pretty good, definitely interested in commissioning this from you beginning of april. I already know what I want, just need to get the money together.

I look forward to commissioning a fully-installed K9 resin mask from you soon!

currently i only have a jawset for my realistic k9, so i only offer the kit for k9's until i finish the respective accessories for my other/new coming species.

i dont install the balaclava or ears anymore, but its real simple to glue a balaclava to the base, there are plenty of tutorials online.

yes i do UV tongues just be sure to mention you want a UV tongue instead of the standard pink.

if you want LED eyes thats an extra $40 because i pay someone to wire them for me. they come with 15-20" of cord and you need to plug on a 9 volt battery to the clip in order to turn the eyes on and off. usually folks will hide the clip/battery in the neck/behind ear areas on finished heads.
