Swandog decided that it would just be too cluttered on her feral form, I think. I also think she wanted the preserve the "deerness" of the design. But I'm not quite sure, that's a question you should ask her yourself

Well both designs are stunning, feral and anthro. I may end up asking her, but for now I'll enjoy the beauty of the design

Well, I just felt her feral form would be too bulky for flight, and that the wings would look too cluttered on her. (Also, she can't have wings all the time, because they would quickly get tattered and worn. Luna moths only live for around a week, and are totally tattered by the end of that, but Lunacorn lives the typical life span of a unicorn.) So instead of wings in her feral form, she has the pale green crescent moon markings on her withers. Her wings quickly grow from those markings whenever she shifts into anthro form during the full moon (starting the day before it's completely full, and ending the day after). She then sheds her wings again when she shifts back into feral form, the form she is in most of the time.
