Alright, I know, I know...the staff isn't supposed to be able to control Thor. It only controls "lesser beings" or something but c'mon, artistic liberties
.I dislike colouring. I always have huge trouble with blending and colour picking but I am pleased with how quickly and smoothly this came along.
Also: akldaslkjasdjksadkfd why are there no good references for that damned staff of his T____T

But considering who gave Loki the staff in the movie....
What would those powers define as a lesser being?
Lesser to the one wielding it?
Or lesser to the ones who created it?
Because if it's the latter, then it's entirely likely that it could have controlled Thor all along. As, I'm assuming, the Chitauri would see Loki and Thor as lesser to them.
Just a thought.

Interesting point of view. I was only wiki-ing the movie on a whim and saw some note about it 'controlling lesser beings' and citing midgardians as the example. I think if it could have controlled Thor, maybe Loki would have used it on him in the movie since he could also exact a more creative revenge on Thor that way too.

And the staff is in old norse legends. I forgot the name but it is not that weird really, there should be a reference to it. They use it in the "Atlantis" cartoon series as well. O.o
