Here's one last (?) Fakémon idea coming right at ya.

This is an idea that has popped into my head for many many MANY months after I noticed how the stats between Gardevoir and Gallade get switched around. Gardevoir has physical attack of 65, but Sp. Atk of 125. Gallade has 125 base physical attack, but only 65 Sp. Atk. And between them, their physical defense remains 65, which is pretty poor.

So I thought "... hey, why don't I make a branching Kirlia evolution myself, and make it entirely defensive? And make it female-only to counter Gallade being male-only while I'm at it? Yeah! That's interesting!"

And so popped up Resalier. It has a very knight-like appearance, and I'll explain why. You know how Gallade is very aggressively protective, right? Well, I always equated that with it being the "father" figure; the one who sets out to hunt and is very territorial. Resalier is supposed to represent the mother, who stays back and maintains order within property, while protecting what she holds dear.

Know what else basically has that same job? A knight. A knight is meant to defend against any intruders or threats as well as ensure the safety of the home/kindgom. Also because female knights were rarely ever heard of during middle age times, so that's also why I took a jab at that. :]

So yes, there ya go.

Evolve by levelling up a female Kirlia holding Knight's Crest

Name Origin: Resolute + Chevalier (French for 'knight'). It also comes from the French word "Resilier," which means to cancel out or null.

Gender Ratio: 100% Female

Type: Psychic/Steel

Ability: Battle Armor / Sturdy

Height: 5'03"

Weight: 138.23 lbs.

EV Yield: 2 Def, 1 Sp. Def

Color: White

Egg Group: Amorphous

A devoted guardian, Resalier makes an excellent bodyguard. It will always respond to danger by
spreading its stance and holding its ground with its arm shields crossed, then counter if harmed.

Resalier are known for their courage and peerless loyalty. Although not as graceful as their
counterparts, their indomitable resolve is rivaled only by their great defenses. They prefer to
teleport rather than walk.

Resalier are pacifists by nature. As such, their preferred method of training is resisting/pushing
against rapids rather than battle. When they fuel their shields with psychic energy, they're unstoppable.

- E: Added shiny variant.
- E2: I extended that plate underneath the "helmet" so it looks more like long hair AND so it provides protection from sneak attacks. It may not really be a plate though... it could be thick cloth. Or hardened hair. Huh, who knows. Either way it's durable and provides cushioning. Also, credit to ~nardmonster for the HP/Speed switch. It makes a lot more sense this way.
