Picture taken at Danum Valley, Sabah, Borneo.Finals are over, so I finally have more time to sort through my Borneo pictures again!
Another one from the Mist Netting day.
We caught a little Flowerpecker (alas, I'm not entirely sure which species exactly - my notebook tells me 'Yellow-Crested, but somehow that one doesn't seem to exist, LOL) and this must be one of the tiniest birds I've ever seen (look at the size of my tutor's index finger next to it!).

Biology trip ('Tropical Forest Ecology') from Uni. One of the days was mistnetting in the rainforest, teaching us a) how to do it and b) about the different adaptations birds have evolved specifically in the rainforest
