"Sup, dudes. The name is Rash. I'm known as the crazy n' cool one of the Battletoads, and I'm super spectacular at doing what I do best when fighting in the battlefield. My Smashin' Hits leave my enemies in the cold. You want a piece of me, let me show you my cool moves and you'll be knocked out cold in a flash."

Rash was originally a human game tester and computer technician named Dave Shar, who much like his buddies was transformed permanently into a toad upon being transported into the Gamescape of a virtual reality simulation, then transported to a planet in a distant part of the galaxy battling against the forces of the galactic conqueror and commander of the Mutant Ratpack, the Dark Queen.

Rash is known as the cool toad, the wisecracking member of the pack, being the most extroverted and flamboyant toad of the team. He is easily identified by his green skin and distinctive shades, wearing red ninja ribbons on his arms and studded kneepads. Around his waist is the signature Battletoads belt emblazoned with their insignia.

Like the other ’Toads, he can transmute parts of his body to deliver devastating Smash Hit attacks, capable of taking out everything from oversized alien rats to monstrous cyborgs. He is not only comfortable with melee combat, he thrives on it, like the Battletoad he truly is.
