Felt like making something with water and love as a theme. Dug up an old poem I made for Brandon back in high school. (Be warned...my poem skill was all over the place so the rhythm is messed up xD )

Loneliness once haunted me, and toyed with my heart

The spirit of hopelessness once threatened to tear me a part

Yet, God did not forsake me, and listened to my prayers

He saw my loneliness and faith, and showed me how much he cares

He showed me that I truly had a soul mate, and that soul mate was you

Each day, cupid’s arrows threatened to strike, as my feelings for you grew

Then one day, love finally struck and before I knew it, I had fallen

Through the skies of darkness, with my heart somewhat stolen

Once was I alone, ever wandering the skies on my wings

But then I heard a song, similar to what an angel sings

Each chord struck my heart, filling me with a new hope

Realizing then that loneliness and I could no longer cope

I fell from the starry sky to the earth below

My wild spirit now tamed by a mortal down low

Who else could capture me with love, but you?

For your love song brought me to you, through and through

Luke may have Mara Jade, and the Doctor may have River Song

But I’d rather spend my life with you, living a life very long

To watch the sun rise then surrender to sister moon

I will never turn back for my heart you have won

I love you with all my heart and soul, my dear soul mate

I look forward to that one very special date

Always remember, I’m here for you and will never forsake you

And know that I’ll forever love you too
