edit:A few months later these two had to be put down because of a horrible disease called FIP..... not much is known about this thing but most cats that have it die before they reach 8mo of age.... out of the original seven that we rescued only three are still living...

two babies my mother rescued last night. we rescue animals practically every week but I feel some of my watchers would get annoyed if I posted a pic of every animal we've saved- some people are funny that way!
anyways I couldn't resist showing you guys the face this kitten made at me went I went to pick up its sibbling. I've never had a kitten actually act protective... usually they are like "EVERYONE FOR THEIR SELF!" when they are scared and I've dealt with tons of scared kittens lol.
anyways... these poor babies are nothing but skin and bones... I hope they make it.

Eh. Cry, breath, live, move on. Mourning only holds you back, when death gives you the opportunity to propel forward.
Plus I have like 7 other cats right now, so crying more than two real isn't helping anyone.

they were doing well for a while but now they are starting to eat less so I fear the battle for their health is far from over :\

They are doing well. C: Their eyes are cleared up and they seem to be putting on a little weight. I'll be sure to get another pic when the fur is all grown back in (the light brown is dead fur from malnutrition). I've gotten them tame enough to hold and handle so that's a good sign. C;

and he still hasnt let it all go- he still runs from anyone but me or sashapuppy

yeah when they stop trying to bite me I'll give them a bath and try to get pics of them wet...it's the best way to see their condition in a photo

Poor things, I hope for the best. Better find them good homes xD If I had the gas money I'd drive to help one. Of course, we can barely afford the two fatties i have xD

yeah we get a little help from the organization we volunteer for. they pay the vet bills at least... without them we'd never be able to do what little we are capable of doing at this time. I do hope they tame up so they can get homes instead of being released back on the street with the other ferals.

I have a huge soft spot for kittens. Cats are one of the few animals I'd really want in my house.

cats are alot easier to deal with than dogs. cats are still alot of work but dogs are more dependant... litter boxes are one example lol but if you have the time to dedicate to fostering one then that's always a big help C;
if you could find a dog rescue to volunteer for I'm sure they'd happily take you on. fosters/volunteers are always needed. just make sure to look for an organization not a humane society or kill shelter- they are anything but "humane".

Honestly they don't look that bad compared to some kittens I've rescued. It's amazing how fast they bounce back with some food and water.
Mr. protective there looks like he has something wrong with his eye - possible a feline herpes flare up?
I think they'll be fine with some good ol' TLC and a trip to the vet :3 They're both going to grow up very beautiful judging by their baby fur - hints to long hair!
Wish I could take them <3 I just rescued three myself and am still trying to adopt one out

I have seen them alot worse too. unfortunately a camera cannot show you what you can feel with your hands. these poor babies are nothing but organs. They are eating C; so there is hope - we've gotten so many like these...it's sad that it just continues to happen.
most strays we pick up have this..I forget the technical name for it... I want to say conjunctivitis but that might be wrong. anyways we have a cream we put in their eyes and it clears it up in a day or two most of the time.
haha yes they'll end up being the most gorgeous kitties.

Oh my gosh, thats really sad. i really hope those little guys make it, they look really bad. i have ether see a cat or a kitten act protective. cute little fur balls.
you should show a pic of every animal you save. just make a big post of animals saved of the month, or some big list of save animal pics
