This is a Secret Santa I've done for someone on
Always loved these games, never thought I'd do some fanart of it until this club made these contests and activities.I only played 1 all the way, I'll be playing 2 sometime soon. So, there may be inconsistencies.. Anyway, I changed up their clothes a bit just to look nice : ) I figure Flik is teaching Odessa some close combat before a battle, in case she ever needs it. She usually uses a crossbow, I think.
Anyway, hope you love it! Whoever you are!

Oh I love how it turned out! I love how gestural it is, there's so much motion, especially with Odessa's legs. I like Flik's and Odessa's determined expressions, Odessa looks so focused to do her best against Flik. I lreally like all the teal blues you used and the borders, and the overlays, they make everything so shiny and stand out a lot. I also like how you drew their scarves, very full of energy. The sky background turned out very nice, too, and brings the whole piece together

Thanks a lot! It became gestural when the anatomy was hard to piece, not a good excuse but I tried to work it as best I could ^^ The scarves are really their capes, but I thought it would be too much body behind them so I tore them up and faded them. Anyway, besides all that, I'm glad the rest came out sucessful ^^ I'm playing suikoden 2 now, Flik looks so different! Kind of glad I mixed up his look here. Drawing strong female characters is fun : ) Thanks a lot Landy! I thought you might like that I tried on the background a lil : ) Merry Christmas to you too!

Haha! But it turned out really nice for it, so it was good you went in that direction. : ) I think the torn capes was a very creative and effective solution, as they traveled they would become very worn, being rebels and all. Yay!! I'm so happy you're finally playing 2! Hope you're having fun with it, tell me what you think of it so far later

Thanks! Yeah, 2 is pretty fun so far ^^ It's certainly more extended on the upswing. I have to agree though, I'm really missing the old portraits.. xD And the returning characters all seem to be preoccupied with drinking and being old. But I like some of the new combat effects, and characters. Anyway, thanks a lot! Blue clouded skies always sort of screamed Suikoden xD I know! I'm probably going to end up buying stuff online or something XD I hope your Christmas is gonna be great!

Awboo, well when I told you I was about 10 hours in in one sitting xD But then for some reason my computer deleted the saves? I was at North Window for the first time, something about Viktor needing to go there or something. I've yet to get the umph to start over again xD
Ahh! I wanted to order a bunch of stuff online, but my internet is limited and so I let it slide. I got some gouche, I have yet to try it out!
