If only I wasn't so clueless about programming...then I'd make a mod where you get a quest where you basically tell both the empire and the Stormcloaks "YOU'VE BEEN HAD!".

Me: *growls then smacks Ulfric* Quit being racist! This is why I would join the Empire despite them trying to kill me. Ralof is the only good Stormcloak! *Ralof blushes while Sinn sweatdrops & Ulfric is surprised, then I mutter* Then again Hadvar is the only good Imperial so far.
Seriously I only join the Imperials to avoid the racism. There might be racism everywhere, but it's most prominant in the Stormcloaks! Only reason I would ever join the Stormcloaks is because of Ralof.
I'm thinking of making a fic where my beautiful Khajit Dovahkiin is in a threesome with Hadvar & Ralof (even if you can't really marry them. Wish you could, I totally would marry Hadvar). Anyway in my fic (If I end up writing it) Hadvar will leave the Imperials, tired of the injustice while Ralof will leave the Stormcloaks, tired of the racism. They will end up joining Myra (my Dovahkiin) who plans on both taking down the Thalmor and making the Empire a better place (no racism [at least outloud], all orphans having a good place to stay if not a home, etc).

I'd have already joined the Stormcloaks, if it weren't for the racism. The reasoning behind the rebellion is sound, and I hate those stuck-up Altmer, especially Thalmor, with a passion. First, the Altmer made Skyrim's people renounce their faith in and worship of Tamriel's equivalent to Jesus. Then, Ulfric saved Markarth in exchange for the right to worship, and the Altmer made Markarth go back on the deal. However, in Solitude, its learned from the High Queen that, if Ulfric had asked, the High King would have allowed the Stormcloaks to claim half of Skyrim as their own country, anf Ulfric, by using the Thu'um to start a war, betrayed the teaching's of the Greybeards, something only Dovahkiins are allowed to do. Forcing someone to give up their religion, however, is, in my opinion, the worse action, thus causing me to sympathise with the Stormcloaks more than the Empire. Plus, after the Markarth thing, I wouldn't expect them to trust the words of Imperials anymore. So the Stormcloaks ARE in the right, if you get rid of the racism.

By the way if Talos is their equivalent to Jesus, then what the hell is Akatosh supposed to be?!
I still wish it was possible to marry Hadvar & Ralof. I would have 2 separate files just to marry them.

Also I never got to the 2nd Act, so no Solitude or Markarth yet.
I have 10 files so far, 5 who join the Stormcloaks & 5 who join the Imperial Legion: one for each race. I always have those who join the Stormcloaks follow Ralof and those who join the Legion follow Hadvar, just because it's easier (even if you can join the Stormcloaks after following Hadvar or the Legion after following Ralof)

I have to comment on how Ulfric seems more of a commander then in the game at this scene.

First round thru skyrim, I joined imperials. They were in oblivioon, after all.
When I finally got to the climax, though, as I stood over ulfric, he didn't beg forgiveness, he didn't beg for mercy.
His last words were, and I quote:
"let the dragonborn do it. It'll make for a better song."
Until the very end, ulfric was a true nord, never giving up, sticking to their customs.
I always went stormcloak from then on.

I've always been with the stormcloaks :3 I don't know, I just don't have much respect for someone who tries to cut off your head for no reason. Although, I do like Hadvar

I will only be going through the main quests and quests I design for Sinn and the other characters. You will probably see a lot of your favorite characters, but I will not be following the game to the letter. I hope this is okay with you. I promise that the ideas I have for characters and enemies will be just as good.

i agreed with the stormcloaks that talos should be allowed to be worshipped and even liked some of the characters
but it was ulfric's racism that led me to go with the empire in the end
