Yep, this is Edward from a little AU fanfic I found on fanfiction called "Love Me before It's too Late". Our poor little Ed in that story is EXTREMELY sick. So sick that it had killed his mother a few years earlier. To make matters worse is that they're orphans and can barely pay for Ed's over-the-counter medication, which isn't helping much. Al is NOT a suit of armor in this, there are no homunculus, only references to them, and Wrinry isn't a childhood friend. Ed has no automail, but he does keep that coat. Though only because his mother had made it for him. I've read all the chapter so far.

Oh yeah, another thing, there isn't any alchemy in this AU fanfic.

Also, if your a grammar and spelling nazi, you'll have a hard time reading this story for most of the chapters have many grammar and spelling mistakes. But I can guarantee the plot is compelling enough to keep reading it!

EDIT: I love how it turned out but somethings off with the shading and I'm not sure what. He is supposed to look sickly but the shading just seems off.
