Though my curiosity is piquing me as to what are the limitations to the curse, that is assuming if such limitations exist.

I'm not sure there are any.
From how I see it, if the curse is real, of course, then the curse seems to be able to travel through timelines, too.
Based on the end of the intermission, it seemed as if Slick knew Karkat (He was like 'oh this kid again')
Karkat might be responsable for Slick losing his arm/eye/friends/casino.
With the kids, Karkat might be responsible for Jack being able to break the game as he has.

On the other hand, it might just be words on a computer program, and all the faults are really just coincidences and everyone's own fault for the mistakes they made.

Man, when I first saw the picture on the fridge, I knew I had to draw something with it.
It just seems to sweet. Karkat being his angry ansty kid, but there are still happy times -- Happy times of drawing pictures for his Lusus, and it getting put up on the fridge.
