Men and women wear this uniform every day. Men and women who are sacrificing their time and effort for our country. Some sacrifice even their lives so that we may live with freedom and liberty. I look up to these brave men and women, and am proud to be among them. To give any less than my all would be very pathetic indeed, and would mark me as undeserving. When I don these clothes, I dont simply have a uniform on, I've stepped into a way of life. I've stepped into the embodiment of Honour, Courage, and Commitment. I can only strive to properly fill this uniform and the weight it bears. I will fight for you. I will stand up for your rights. If need be, I will die so that you may live.I am a United States Sailor.
I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and I will obey the orders of those appointed over me.
I represent the fighting spirit of the Navy, and those who have gone before me, to defend freedom and democracy around the world.
I proudly serve my country's Navy combat team with Honour, Courage, and Commitment.
I am commited to excellence and the fair treatment of all.

Characters like Shepard may get all the attention these days for being the heros, but its the spirit like that right there that make a hero. Good luck with it man, maybe some day you'll end up running into someone else I know and get to share embarrassing stories about me
