Coloured my TFS DBZA Episode 30.3-inspired drawing of Piccolo having a nap with my usual ProMarkers.I drew his left leg too small so tried to make it stand out with the shading there, I kind of failed
But oh well.

well you see dende sleeping at the lookout as a kid!! so that brings me to believe that nameks do sleep, just not very often as adults. cuz it's possible that namekian children don't have enough control over their bodies to be able to meditate in a way that allows them to sleep (allowing their bodies to rejuvinate themselves) but while still being concious and aware of their surroundings like you would if you were simply relaxing or day dreaming!! and you also see evidence of the fact that nameks have a sleep cycle when mr. popo and bulma go to the yunzibit plains where kami lived most of his life and they check out his spaceship. when they explore it and try to figure out how to make it go, mr. popo says something in namekian and it takes off at the speed of light to take them to jupiter, while bulma is being sucked down into her seat by the gravity..she starts blabbing out words in english that the computer mistakes for namekian and one of the words she says makes the computer think she said "toilet" hehehehehe!!!, the other word made the comuter think she said "sleep" so it popped up a bed!! so right there it proves that nameks have both sleep cycles and biological functions!!!

Quite a well thought out response hehe! I don't remember Dende sleeping, where/when was that? But you're right, of course the spaceship makes sense! (And I just got a flashback to TFS's screaming Namekian toilet, lol) Mehehehe

oh i never watched dbza, but i heard it is funny!! and i believe that you see that part in the original version of dbz just before the cell games, cuz the scene was at the lookout and dende is sharing the bed with gohan (who is a little older, like a preteen) and i think the other one was krillin. cuz the first time dende visited earth you only ever see him at bulma's house, the second time around was at the lookout when goku brought him there to be earths new guardian!! and thanks!!

Sounds vaguely familiar but I couldn't find it! DBZA is magnificent, I highly recommend you give it a go

i watched the first couple of episodes, pppffffftttt...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! omg, that was funny!!! NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD!!! that was one of my favorite parts. and i know you see that part somewhere, maybe it was in the manga? but i'm pretty sure i saw it in the anime!!!

Lol, glad you like it! It only gets better and better. There are 30 episodes, up to the end of the Freeza saga, so it should be plenty to enjoy
