A watercolour commission for =Killslay-steelclaw , she asked me to draw an Arcanine and Shaymin in Sky Forme.I enjoyed working on this, and I think it turned out pretty nicely. Arcanine is so much fun to draw!

I do love that tiger dog. Definitely a strong contender for my favourite Gen1 mon, and this is a great, realistic rendition f it.

Shaymin caused me some trouble because I tried too hard to think what it's supposed to be. XD Arcanine on the other hand is actually some sort of tiger/lion/canine, based on a creature called Shisa.

Yeah, I for some reason, think that the hedgehogy version of Shaymin is harder to draw for me. XD
And, yes, I know of Shisa. ^_^

Beautiful. I really like the way you make Arcanine look. It looks so proud and majestic.
And Shaymin... I like how it looks (to me) like a canine mixed with a moose sort of. It looks awesome. :3

Olin ite kans samaa mieltä kun tän toivomuksen sain. Multa meinas pää hajota ku mietin et mikä helvetti toi siilipeurakoira oikein on, en tykkää siitä kyllä yhtään. Muuten oli mukava tehä. Mutta mitä nyt päättelin, niin nää kaks vissiin edustaa jotain, joko ne on lempipokeja tai sit jotain muuta vastaavaa, että joku järki siinäkin kai on. Ja tilaaja on tosta ihan läheltä iltapäiväteen luvatusta maasta, eli eiköhän se oo ihan onnellisen pihalla.

It's possible they're wings, I don't really know. Head-wings seem silly to me (maybe even sillier than Victini's butt-wings) so I went with antlers. I mean, Santa's reindeer don't have wings and they can still fly.

It's doesn't matter this way also looks fines but as I said I think they are wings. Anyway as that 4th gen. was a complete fail to me I don't really care!

I agree, gen 4 really wasn't that good. So many horrible designs, but luckily there were good ones, too.
