Description

Tusken Raiders, less formally referred to as Sand People or simply as Tuskens, are in Star Wars franchise a culture of nomadic peoplesindigenous to Tatooine, where they were often hostile to local settlers.

As such, they were created by George Lukas, and are owned by Disney. But nowadays would be easier to say, who isn't owned by Disney?

Actually first time -at least, in adulthood- trying to do a costume. Done in a hurry, couldn't make it look more worn out and dirthy, as it should, being a quickly done costume: as I bought new cloths, costume was more costly than it should, but materials costed in total about 40 USD -37,5 cloths, and 2,5 the security glasses used to hold the mask and the hat over which I sticked the wraps.

-Normally these wraps where better fix around the head to give it the proper form, but that day I had already taken it off many times, and put together without help of a mirror... so not even the "horns" are anylonger visible v__v -

IIIII LOVE IT. XD I recall the old days of Shabazik cosplay and I'm happy to see the spirit hasn't died. πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

It looks much better than the time I went to a screening of the original trilogy in 2007 as Darth Vader. I was way, way too short. XD

Looks great for a quick costume, made in haste. I like it! Now comes the hard part, making their unique battle cry. XD Everytime I heard it, I thought it sounded very close to a donkeys braying.

I think it looks great, especially for your first time! Did you make those face structures yourself?

Nice work on the costume! For that "worn-out" effect, perhaps it is worth to try the approach of the black metal musician Per Yngve Ohlin (aka Dead) of the band Mayhem - to simply bury the clothes in the ground for 2-5 days?

I've never been to a Comic Con, or made a costume. However, your costume seems just like the ones in the movies! Great work, Shab!

Very nice low cost hurried improvisation. Those ideas are harder to transfer than you may think.Β Β

Looks pretty good for a first time and you've identified any weak areas.
