A Guardsdrow in service of the (Fake) Empress of Ravens of Dol-Nur.

The Dol'Nurian Empress favoured the use of chainmail bikini armours among her ranks, as was conceived combat in a ritualised, ceremonial way.

The Controversy of the Empress of Ravens

The Crown of Ravens was a title created by the Dark Legion of Demons before the First War of the Power, being meant to be the title for the demon overlord that was to become the ruler of the Drow dark elves demonic state in the Underworld of Kazrrad. However, the demonic attempts to influence the drow -while succesful to some degree- into a vassal state would be dropped with the alliance formed with Negeémiliel and the crowning of the Queen of the Drow, that the Dark Legion recognised as hegemonic ruler of the drow and representative of the Drows in the Confederation of the Free Peoples -or called as well, the Dark Legion of Demons

However, as many of the northern drow states didn't recognice the primacy of the southerner Queen of the Drow, the Crown of Ravens, while without a claimant continued to exist as an institution within the Demonic Senate.

With the defeat of the Dark Legion in the First War of the Power and the disbandment of the Confederation, many of the Demon overlords that escaped will seek refugee in the Underworld of Kazrrad -and many took the form of the peoples of Kazrrad, as demonic drow dark elves, goblins, orcs or other Kazrradi creatures.

During this time, there would be several demons who took demon form who took the opportunity of the fall of the Queen of the Drow to claim the Crown of Ravens:

However, by the time of the dawn of the Second Coming of Darkness, the release from their prison of the great demon lords, there where two main claimants to the Crown of Ravens

Yu'Anda the (Real) Empress of Ravens

This southern Bazrrod drow-shaped demon was Yu'Anda the Empress of Ravens, a minor demon lord that settled in secrecy on  Erehel-Sinu. By the end of the Middle Human age and at the dawn of the Second Coming of Darkness, her consort was known as Sigurd among the city's inhabitants, though she has taken mortal lovers into her bed more than once. This has resulted in many half-demon drow being born to her, and she is fanatical about the preservation and protection of family. This has led to a direct conflict with her grand children.

The (Fake) Empress of Ravens

The (Fake) Empress of Ravens was the self-proclaimed title for a bazrrod demon lord of Northern underworld of Kazrrad. Taking the form of a drow -sometimes called mockingly Drowboob by it's rivals-, this demon wanted to become recognised as a demon-god for the drows, being an agent of the interests of the Confederation of Free Peoples in the underworld of Kazrrad, trying to unify the drow nations under the banners of the Dark legion of Demons, leading it's own cult of Ravens.

A minor Bazrrod demon in the demonic courts, it's underworld seat of power was in the furnaces of Dol'Nur -taking command of drow mercenaries and legionnaires-, having as well a surface palace in the western slopes of the Dol'Nur Mount.

While it often took the form of a voluptuous drow dark elf woman, some of the other known forms are as a monstrous raven, a light skinned elf and an angel.

Love the use of color here. The effect of value contrast is awesome. I've rarely seen it used on this site, really. I more often see it used in books on color theory, etc. Most of it is on the head area, so your eye is drawn there after the torso.

I could see the two different cults, led by high priestesses, waging war against each other in the tunnels.  It would be mostly skirmishes as the distance is significant, but neither side would gain much from it.  Instead, assassins would be the key tactics.  Or adventurers.  The REAL Empress would know that a simple assassin wouldn't be enough, but she is vindictive enough to do it anyway to make a point.  However, if she really wanted to destroy the FAKE Empress, then it would come to a match between the two, likely in a predetermined location, which neither side would come alone.  It would be the climactic clash, and Yu'Anda would come out the victor of it.  Whether Drowboob is alive or dead at the end, I'd let you decide.

Though, I do think there should be reoccurring champions for both sides!  Also, I am going to TRY to design some outfits and armor for the True Empress of Ravens.
