Still life, oils, done the 98 by MBB...One of the few drawings she isn't ashamed about, and have in the house. :3

I like how she put the birds in a lush and dark surroundings. There seems to be a sad poignancy because of that. The bird calls might be imagined as if in mourning? The use of light on the dark winged bird helps seperate and and define the bird from the dark background.
