i stopped watching cos no offence i uhhhhhhh hate it quite a bit. theyre just like ignoring the source material by uh *cough* making it so alisha could armatise despite in canon her being too weak to even be a good squire to sorey
also i dont like how mikleos kind of sidelined despite him being very important in the game to soreys overall character :/

I can agree with all those points. Honestly they really did increase the importance of Alisha in the anime mainly because of a lot of people being really disappointed with her story in the game.
Honestly, I reckon the show has spent too much time on Rose and Alisha and not enough developing Sorey.
I'm most confused with how they've treated Edna, she's not as emotionally disconnected or sarcastic as in the game; she's more tsundere in the anime.
Honestly, I reckon they really could've emphasised Mikleo's importance a bit more especially towards these last few episodes.
But they're still little things that show their closeness. They shared a dessert spoon in the last episode... and that's about it.
Also Zapheid joined their team... really randomly?
But its alright, cause Dezel got more screentime, and he's beautiful.

i mean im happy for dezel but... zaveid... real zaveid wouldnt just join the team. at first i thought zaveids characterisation in the anime was nice but.. i think theyve made him too nice. like are we forgetting in the game he picks a fight with sorey and the crew more than once. why is that overlooked, hes a cocky bastard who wanted to teach those goody two shoes who thought they could save everyone a lesson.. lol
also dezel is weird. why did he randomly lift roses skirt with wind. dezel would never do that. it bugs the hell out of me
u kno i had my doubts about how theyd treat mikleo the second they made him just go off on his own to get the vessel weapon bow thing instead of having him fight with sorey. that was an important moment for both of them, forcing sorey to realise he can rely on mikleo and mikleo stepping forward and wanting to be at soreys side to protect him. like... they just cut that out. it was so so so important. mikelo has been described as soreys other half, i recall an interview saying that without mikleo sorey is only half a protagonist like..... mikleo is important.. treat him like hes supposed to be treated?????? hes literally described as soreys one and only like come on.. what the hell
oh god yeah edna. ive heard she like.. doesnt even talk that much either. and besides if anyone is the tsundere of zestiria its mikleo. ednas not that at all. i also dont like how appanretly its possible to save eizen in the anime.. edna never asked sorey to save eizen in the game. eizens death was an important thing for edna, zaveid and sorey. why would they twist it to make it so he lives??????
i think people who complain about lack of alisha in the game are silly. she was never supposed to be a major character. if she was meant to be important in the game, they would have made her more important. rose is the heroine and alisha is not, i wish people would just understand that. i love alisha but she doesnt belong with sorey and rose. are we just forgetting that alisha is so weak that she literally make sorey go blind in one eye? following and assisting sorey isnt her role, her role is to do what is right for her country and her people.

Yeah, I don't really know why he did that. But to be honest I found that scene quite funny just because of how out of character it was.
Actually Rose and Dezel get more character development together than Sorey and Mikleo.
I know, to be honest though, they had a loooooooooot of content to cover and things they just had to omit and change. For instance, they're no temples at all anymore.
Mikleo just got the bow and that's it. So instead they give Mikleo all the lines like "You know Sorey, wherever you go, I'll always follow" or "I'll never leave your side" So in that sense they're relationship is maintained but definitely not to the best degree. Also I think its only 25 Episodes???? I'm on 23 now, and well, I don't see how they can wrap up... anything at the moment.
Well, I don't know if he lives yet. It MAY happen. But, yeah I reckon they didn't give Edna her full potential. It feels more like they tried to make her seem more loli? (yuck)
I completely agree with you. There were aspects of Alisha that just didn't belong in the group, she had duty to her people. And in the anime, they do that part very well. Her role to the people seems very genuine and her conflict very tragic at times, and knight girls she's best friends are cool too. But again, it feels like Alisha got waaaaaaaaaaay too much development. So in the anime, it actually makes sense why she could armatize.

Other things I didn't really like in the anime was the fact that the fox guy has he's own character arc all throughout? Like, why?
Get rid of him. he's not necessary, he literally got 10 minutes dedicated to him in the last episode. WHY!??? HES A CREEP!!! GIVE ZAPHIED SOME LINES INSTEAD!!!
Also, Simone. turns into a dragon?

I loved in the game how you had to fight the priest and other sources of malevolence, and then the one dragon was the climax... but In the anime. EVERYTHING IS DRAGON RELATED.
You know pendrago? in the anime, instead of the awesome epic battle with the corrupt ruler. you get... a dead dragon corpse... yeah.

also another thing idk... i dont really like how sorey kinda ended up like. ur typical sort of protag. like i havent watched that much really but a lot of people said that he isnt really like the sorey who takes ages to realise he cant save everyone. also doesnt he nearly fall in into malevolence cos of alisha being hurt like.. thats really unlike sorey. hes the perfect shepherd because of how pure and un-corruptable. i dont think alisha would drive him into malevolence (if anything would cause that it would have to be something happening to mikleo probably lol)
god i just.. it could have been good. it could have been zestirias redemption because its story wasnt that great. but.. ufotable just made it weird????
