Simple animation commission for from FA! Wasnt sure if i should wait till wintertime to post this one hahaI took a simple animation project on FA for the first time as an experiment to see if i'd like to do these as commissions, and I took this little guy as a starter! I wasnt going to do head movements for these but since this character was pretty easy to draw I let it slide :'D (Still was pretty tedious tho so probably not doing that again xD)

I think it kinda depends what hes talking about xD Is he saying that the character itself isnt furry? Or the style?
If its the character, then I would kinda agree xD What most people think of 'furry' they think of animal characters with humanoid bodies and characteristics like these:
This character is basically a regular quadruped dog with no human qualities. But the person who commissioned me for this was a furry and this character has been drawn with two legs before (this is kind of alternate version of him) so... honestly its up to interpretation xD (there are a lot of people think that 'furry' applies to ALL animal characters anyway haha)

I think he meant the style. Although, he tried to tell me that it could've been a drawing of a fox who fell into a bucket of blue paint and 'you' got an idea from it. I even told him it's a character that belongs to someone, although then he tried to prove to me that it isn't exactly Furry if it isn't anthro. Even though he favors feral furries over anthro. He's very complicated and stubburn, and has issues. I'm really sorry if I bothered you by asking. It's just I consider the art "furry-like" but when he disagrees, he tries to go all out to prove his self even if he is actually wrong, and hates when people disagree with him. And when you point it out that he's not letting someone believe something, he completely avoids the statement. I'm sorry I'm saying all this. xP;

I wonder what makes a 'feral furry' if this isnt one to him haha. Does it need to have hair and wacky colors? lol. But I guess I can understand where hes coming from since most people would dismiss this as not really being furry cause there isnt any human attributes to him, but every persons definition of a furry is different xD

Well, to me, it's 'furry-like' when the character owner is a Furry. Because I don't believe an art style determines when an animal in an artwork is Furry or not. Which would still be the same as for realistic drawings. It'd still be furry to me, it just would portay the furry as more of a real, existing, animal.
